Matariki – Maori New Year – Matakana Coast

Matariki is a time for connecting with, and giving thanks to the land, sea and sky. It is also a time to turn to the future, welcoming the new generation to the world and planning for the year ahead. We have created two art works to celebrate this special time of year. They will be exhibited at Heron’s Flight Vineyard over the next week in conjunction with their Matariki celebrations!
